About Us

help2learn has been set up by Tim Nicholls to provide Primary Schools with affordable solutions in ICT. Tim not only has experience in teaching children from Nursery to Year 6 but also previously worked for the BBC as a computer systems engineer. This gives the rare combination of not only understanding the curriculum needs of teachers and pupils but also an extensive knowledge of ICT equipment and infrastructure. This puts Tim in a strong position to be able to advise schools in getting the best value and the right equipment for their budget.

Tim taught in Suffolk for eight years as a full-time and supply teacher. Whilst supply teaching he was also a NOF tutor for MpowerNet, part of Anglia Polytechnic University.

Tim is a member of Naace and is an accredited NaaceMark assessor. He supported a Primary School right from NOF training through to being the first school in Suffolk to be awarded NaaceMark. He is also a member of Advisory Matters independent consultants and can call upon the vast knowledge and experience of fellow practitioners; some of whom sit on Naace committees.

He has now moved to Cornwall with his family and is starting to support schools in the area as well as still supporting schools in Suffolk.
